When brainstorming names for her brand-new marketing and business development firm, Deirdre knew for sure that it needed to be catchier than… Deirdre’s Consulting. She thought about what made her tick, and the answer was clearly “strategy first”.

She also considered who she was, and someone gently reminded Deirdre that she is like an Army General to work with – strategic, direct, and relentless.

Before we design, write, or build anything, we dig into your goals, your audience, and your competitive landscape. That clarity up front helps us make smarter decisions, faster. SMPS Fellow

Deirdre Booth is recognized as an SMPS Fellow, a distinction held by less than 3% of professionals in the industry. This honor reflects not only her depth of experience in AEC marketing but also her lasting impact on the field. Her FSMPS designation is a testament to her commitment to the profession and to the people she serves.

Then, Deirdre was asked what inspires her, and the answer was, “Tank, my dog. He is a tiny little thing, who has had his share of problems, but every day he gets up and takes on the Pitbull!”

So, from emulating a little dog with a big attitude, to always circling back to “strategy first,” we are TankGirl Marketing.

While Tank is sadly no longer with us today, his MO lives on with each and every member of TankGirl.

    Deirdre thrives on helping firms achieve their goals—whether it’s crafting and executing a strategic vision or focusing on a critical project pursuit. She’s intimately involved in every step, ensuring her team is prepared with the right strategies to succeed.

    For more than two decades, Deirdre has specialized in business and marketing planning, strategic project pursuits, and guiding firms through the tactical implementation needed to achieve long-term success. Deirdre’s industry expertise and drive to win sets her apart as a leader, mentor, and partner.

    To Deirdre, winning goes beyond meeting our client’s goals. She is always focused on the health and well-being of the team – which creates an environment of excellent work.

    Fun Facts:

    • She is an avid dog lover, as evidenced by naming the company after her beloved dog, Tank

    With over 15 years of graphic design experience and an unstoppable passion for creativity, Nikki leads the charge as Creative Director at TankGirl Marketing. She specializes in refreshing brands and designing collateral and specialty graphics that not only grabs attention but connects with target audiences. From brainstorming ideas to executing standout designs, Nikki thrives on transforming concepts into visually compelling stories that leave a lasting impression.

    On top of her design expertise, Nikki takes pride in being the Lead Trainer at TankGirl Marketing, sharing her creative process and insights to inspire fresh ideas and push boundaries. Collaboration and empowerment are at the heart of her work—with a relentless drive to exceed expectations and a focus on bringing a shared vision to life.

    For Nikki, winning is when an idea becomes reality in a way that exceeds expectations. It’s seeing a creative vision come to life, and having it resonate with others. The biggest win is when her work not only achieves its purpose but also inspires, connects, and stands out.

    What do you like to do out of work, fun fact about you, something interesting/personal?

    • Family is my number one priority, and I love sharing my passion for healthy living with them. I’m always experimenting with new ways to cook healthy meals that my family actually enjoys.
    • Fun Fact: Spanish was my first language and I speak only Spanish with some of my family.

    • Outside of work, Garrett enjoys spending quality time with his son, striving to be the best father he can be.
